BREAKING: Arrest Warrant Issued In Connection To March 26 Homicide

An arrest warrant has been issued in connection to the shooting death of 22-year-old Edgar Union, Jr., which occurred March 26 outside a home near 47th and Stockwell.

Lincoln Police will not release the name of the person in the arrest warrant at this time, since it would impede the investigation, apprehension of the suspect and potentially jeopardize the safety of officers.

The arrest warrant is for 2nd-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

Officers are pursuing all leads, including help from the general public and Lincoln Public Schools.  If anyone has additional information in the death of Edgar Union, Jr., call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000.
