Auto Thefts In Lincoln Are Up In 2019

Another reason to not keep valuables in your car.

As of Wednesday, the number of auto thefts in 2019 is up in Lincoln. There have been 149 car thefts reported to police this year. Compare it to the same time period a year ago, there were 112 cases and 97 in 2017 during the same time frame.

Police say in most cases this year, keys were left inside vehicles.
