Body Found Near Parking Garage In South Haymarket

LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 27)–Lincoln Police are investigating the report of a dead body found near a parking garage in the South Haymarket area on Sunday morning.

Police say a staff member with Park & Go apparently saw a man in his 20s on the sidewalk near the Lumber Works Parking Garage, 700 “N” Street.

For now, LPD is saying no foul play has been indicated and the name of the person hasn’t been released while family members are still being contacted.

More information is expected to be released at Monday’s police media briefing.
