Season outlook: Nebraska men’s basketball commit Braden Frager and Hutchinson Community College baseball commit Karter Chamberlain are among the returning starters that bring athleticism to the court. This could be one of the more talented teams Southwest has assembled in recent years and could be a contender across the state. The additions of transfers Mari Shumaker and BJ Bradford (Southeast) and Jaxyn Cruse (Northeast) could make immediate contributions. Defense, rebounding and playing together will be keys to a successful season for Southwest.
