LINCOLN–(KFOR  May 10, 2019)–UPDATE: Lincoln Police have identified the person killed in a crash early Friday morning along West Fletcher Avenue between NW 13th and NW 20th Streets.

Officer Angela Sands says 31-year-old Stephen Hundley was pronounced dead at the scene.  According to the investigation, a Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV was traveling westbound, crossed the curbed median, and rolled across the eastbound lanes of traffic. Two people were ejected from the vehicle. A 35 year old man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but his injuries are not considered life threatening.

Lincoln Police Crash Reconstruction Team members are actively processing and collecting vehicle and roadway evidence, and diligently working to reconstruct how the accident occurred and to identify the seat placement of the occupants.

A fatal crash Friday morning near the Kawasaki plant.  Police Capt. Ben Kopsa tells KFOR NEWS just after 2am, an SUV headed west crossed over eastbound lanes and rolled, throwing 2 people out.  A 32-year-old man is dead.  Another occupant was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.  Capt. Kopsa tells KFOR NEWS West Fletcher will likely be closed in both directions through the morning rush from NW 13th Street to NW 20th.
