Car/Pedestrian Collision Early Thursday Near Downtown Lincoln

LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 12)–Police are investigating a car/pedestrian crash from Thursday morning west of downtown Lincoln.

This happened around 5:45am just west of 1st and “O” Streets, were the pedestrian was hit by a westbound car. The westbound lanes of “O” Street were shutdown for about an hour, but have since reopened.

Lincoln Police confirmed in an email to KFOR News that the pedestrian’s injuries are serious, but not life-threatening.
