LINCOLN–(KFOR July 23)–Lincoln Police are investigating a crash, where a man may have suffered a medical episode, crashed his car into another vehicle Tuesday morning in the Belmont area.

KFOR News talked to Police Officer Angela Sands, who said the crash happened shortly after 9am at 14th and Irving, which is north of Belmont Elementary School.

According to Officer Sands, witnesses reported seeing man driving and suffering a medical episode just before the crash.  LFR took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.  No other injuries were reported.

Officer Sands says investigators are still at 14th and Irving processing the scene, as their investigation continues.

The man’s name and age have not been released, pending notification of relatives.

A separate accident claimed the lives of two men Tuesday morning along Highway 34, between Highway 75 and the Missouri River.

The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office says first-responders from Bellevue were sent to the crash around 1045. The two men were dead at the scene.

No further details have been released.
