LINCOLN–(KFOR July 9)–A man that escaped the Lincoln Regional Center on Monday evening was only on the run for almost four-and-a-half hours.

Lincoln Police say 44-year-old Pavel Kislyak climbed a fence at the Regional Center and took off, shortly after 5:30pm.  LPD, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol, along with other law enforcement agencies converged on the area and a manhunt ensued.

A passerby later reported seeing a man fitting the description of Kislyak walking in the area of 1st and Old Cheney.  LPD later found Kislyak near Highway 77 and Warlick Boulevard, where he complied with officer’s commands and was taken into custody.  He later was sent back to the Lincoln Regional Center.
