What: 2021 Outlook Enrichment Vision Beyond Sight
When: Friday, 11/19 from 6p to 9p
Where: Embassy Suites La Vista Conference Center, 12520 Westport Pkwy, La Vista, Ne.
Outlook Enrichment, a nonprofit dedicated to helping anyone dealing with vision loss find the resources they need to stay independent and continue doing the things they love, is stoked to launch something completely different for our Nov. 19 fundraiser! Expect gnarly entertainment, tasty grub and beverages, carving that has nothing to do with meat and shredding that has nothing to do with lettuce!
Hosted at the Embassy Suites La Vista Conference Center, the event will feature an urban-themed experience (so, dress in street clothes!) with food-truck inspired eating areas, an art gallery featuring works by visually impaired artists and more!
Being Outlook’s largest fundraiser of the year, Vision Beyond Sight will give attendees opportunities to meet and interact with supporters and participants in Outlook’s visually impaired programs while helping people with limited vision achieve greater independence and become part of an inclusive community. The event also will celebrate Outlook Enrichment’s volunteer of the year award winner, in addition to award winners and nominees from our sister entity, Outlook Nebraska.
The evening will feature blind skateboarder Nick Mullins from the mini documentary You And The Thing That You Love. Nick will show off his skills on a half-pipe built right there in the ballroom before taking on some local thrashers in a Detroit versus Nebraska skate-off!
Single tickets are $100, and all event proceeds will directly support Outlook Enrichment’s programs.
