The Capital Jazz Society continues its jazz series at the Storm Cellar with a fresh lineup, including groups like The Lightning Bugs, Paper Canaries, and B & The Boppers! Our 2023 Summer Jazz Series will take place every Monday starting on July 3rd and run until September 25th at the Storm Cellar, which is located in the Indian Village Shopping Center at 3233½ South 13th Street.
We will alternate between the Monday Night Big Band and smaller jazz ensembles each week, featuring some of the best musicians from the Lincoln/Omaha area. Students and community members are also invited to sit in with the Monday Night Big Band during their second and third sets of the night!
