Domi Edson is an emerging force as a jazz bassist and composer originally from Seattle and now residing in Denver. Domi has already made an impact as an artist, having played at Dazzle (Denver), Frankie’s Jazz Club (Vancouver, B.C.), The Royal Room (Seattle), Yardbird Suite (Edmonton, AB), live on KUVO 89.3, the Five Points Jazz Festival, and at the International Society of Bassists Conference as a bandleader. As a Sidewoman, Domi has performed with Terrell Stafford, Charles McPherson, Tia Fuller, Greg Gisbert, Dawn Clement, Gayelynn McKinney, Annie Booth, and many more. Reminiscent of groups like the Ray Brown and Jeff Hamilton Trios, the Domi Edson Trio performs a unique collection of new and reimagined music. Domi is joined by her trio-mates Spencer Zweifel on piano and Bobby Wiens on drums.
