The meetings are held at the Aldersgate UMC, 84th and South Streets here in Lincoln. There is ample parking, no steps, and a nice meeting room. The presentation begins at 1:30pm CT. There is always time allowed for discussion and sharing after the presentation. Everyone is welcome to attend. The meetings are free and you do NOT need to register.

The presentation for August 22nd will be given by Michaela Williams – Eastmont Living, Natalie Leon – Visiting Angels, and Jen Brown – Lincoln Wellness Group. These gals are members of the Caregiver Education Group. They have a wealth of information to share with you. They will be talking about wellness while caregiving, no matter where you are! You will also learn about ways to care for yourself while caregiving for others. Plus they will share how to get help in your home or in a senior living environment. There will be time for discussion and for you to ask questions after the presentation. The presentation and the folder of resources will provide invaluable information, not only for family caregivers but also for family members, pastors/church members, friends and neighbors as well as professional care providers.

Beth Schuster from Aging Partners, who gave the presentation at our last meeting, will be bringing copies of the File of Life. I will have folders and other resource materials available for those who did not receive them last month. We will have updated brochures available and in our folders of resources We also have a flyer listing support groups.

There is a suggested donation of $12 which will print another copy.
