First-Plymouth Church will offer a Compline service for Peace on Sunday, November 12 at First-Plymouth Church (2000 D Street). With the fires of war raging in the Middle East and Ukraine, we need to gather in the name of peace. A special Compline for Peace will be held Sunday evening. This is free and open to the public. There will also be a free Music and Meditation session held at First-Plymouth prior to the Compline for Peace service beginning at 5:45pm.

All are welcome to join the Music & Meditation series to learn musical mediation from Oscar Rios, Music in the Bible and Meditation with Brent Shaw, Meditation as Music and Movement with Maribel Cruz, and Meditation and Sound Healing with Cindy Mohr.

Following the meditation session, at 7:00pm all are invited to gather in the church sanctuary for a special Compline for Peace service. Sit quietly and allow an experience of deep inner peace through Compline. No words are spoken, and participants are given an opportunity to light a candle as a personal act of prayer.
