Event is for those age 60 and over. Box supper will be provided.
There is no charge for this two-night event.
Participants are required to attend both nights.

Learn the basic skills necessary to function and ourish in an increasingly digital and online world.
We’ll discuss tools to eectively address the most popular phone and computer-based scams
including identify theft, the nation’s number one consumer complaint.
Topics covered include:
 Cybersecurity  Safe browsing  Secure banking
 Online shopping and payment systems  Monitoring and protecting your credit
Monday, May 20
The Scams and Fraud Education (SAFE) annual update raises awareness around the top ten scams
impacting Nebraskans with a strong emphasis on imposter scams (phone, text message and email)
and imposter scams. Participants will receive a Consumer Protection Kit along with two books –
“Recognize and Report Scams” and “Identity Theft: A Consumer Guide.”
Tuesday, May 21
• Learn how to better defend against potential scams, including:
• Online banking
• Shopping online
• Checking and protecting your credit
• Basics in cybersecurity
Created for all skill levels, the course focuses on n the benet of using technology as a tool to stay
connected, make life easier and increase the quality of our lives.
