The Nebraska Caregiver Coalition is pleased to announce the next presentation in of a series of four
virtual workshops, designed to provide training, education, support, and resources for family caregivers.
The upcoming educational workshop is titled ‘’Tips for Caregivers and Grief” presented by Mindy
Crouch, LICSW, LISW, and Gayleen Bradley. The presentation will be held via Zoom on Thursday, May
12th from 12:00pm-1:30pm CT. In this presentation, the audience will learn a few quick ideas that will
help through the caregiver journey. These ideas will help with communication, expectations, and how to
support oneself.
Mindy Crouch, LICSW, LISW is the founder and owner of Pando Geriatric Counseling, P.C. They provide
mental health counseling to Seniors to help with the aging journey and caregiver support. She is also the
author of “Understanding Dementia: An Interactive Learn and Earn” book, helping explain dementia to
children in a fun and hands on way.
Gayleen Bradley is the Administrator of Orchard Park Assisted Living in Lincoln. She has been working in
the health care industry for 14 years in the Lincoln and Omaha areas, with experience in home care,
IL/AL, skilled care and hospice settings. Gayleen is a Qualified Dementia Care Specialist through the
Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) as well as an Independent Dementia Consultant. She has
earned several different certifications in dementia care and has shared her knowledge with many
families and professional caregivers to help enhance the lives of those they take care of who are
affected by dementia. She has volunteered her time and supports the Alzheimer’s Association having
served as an advocate, educator, committee member and support group facilitator.
