The Nebraska History Museum announces the opening of two new exhibitions this Saturday.
The first is the Smithsonian traveling exhibition “Righting a Wrong: Japanese Americans and World War II”. The exhibition examines the complicated history and impact of Executive Order 9066 that led to the incarceration of Japanese Americans following the attack on Pearl Harbor. The second exhibition is developed by History Nebraska and Legacy of the Plains to expand on the story of Japanese Nebraskans and the support of the Japanese culture. Both exhibitions are locally supported by Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp, U.S.A.
