What: Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands Provides Nonprofits and Opportunity to Move “Forward Together:
Registration is now available for the 15th annual Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands, a virtual conference on Wednesday, Nov. 3 that will unite more than 300 nonprofit executives, employees, board members and volunteers in Nebraska and southwest Iowa. The event, hosted by the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands, will connect nonprofits with all missions and sizes with ideas, best practices, and educational resources in the nonprofit sector.
“The upheaval of 2020 and 2021 has illustrated how important the nonprofit community is in making our communities stronger, healthier, and livable for all, but it has also made it clear that we can’t do it alone,” said NAM CEO Anne Hindery. “The Summit will feature breakout sessions and workshops on a variety of nonprofit topics that will help nonprofits continue to move forward together.”
The Summit also will recognize a leader or organization that has made an impact in the nonprofit community, through NAM’s Catalyst Award, which will be announced during the virtual conference. Catalyst Award nominations are due Sept. 24. Registration for the Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands is available at https://www.nonprofitam.org/events/.
