On Fri., Nov. 3, 6-8 p.m., Noyes will open its November Focus show with work by eight Noyes members and one guest artist. This show will feature diverse styles and media from traditional imagery to abstract work and textiles. Live-stream of the opening and brief artist talks will broadcast on Noyes Gallery Facebook page at 7 p.m. The show will also be on display at the gallery during regular hours Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. through November.
Angi Stilwell, who curated the show, creates fascinating mixed media collages. Her work features rich surfaces and often suggests stories.
Joining Stillwell in the show are: Cheri Epp (crochet), Cody Grape (enchanting landscapes), Dori Stubbendeck (mixed media), Gary Kudym (mixed media), Kathy Link (pastel), Lori Heine (watercolor), Shannon Dumais (felting), and Teri Martens (metal sculptures).
