The Parkinson’s Foundation and FLY | A Fitness Revolution are excited to share an upcoming opportunity in the Lincoln community to give back while you tap back. They are hosting the Parkinson’s Foundation annual Parkinson’s Revolution ride on June 12 to raise funds and awareness for the 1 million Americans living with Parkinson’s.
Research shows that exercise, including indoor cycling can alleviate Parkinson’s symptoms and improve quality of life for people living with the disease. Every 9 minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. On June 12 in Lincoln’s Tower Square with FLY | A Fitness Revolution, everyone will ride together to generate awareness and funds for the Parkinson’s Foundation. So all riders are invited to join the event and be a part of this inspiring and powerful day of celebration. The event will also be taking place in 27 other cities across the country.
For riders who want to go the distance, raise $250 to earn a Parkinson’s Revolution t-shirt or tank top to ride in on June 12. It’s your turn to clip in, turn up the resistance and get ready to pedal for Parkinson’s. Register today at www.PDRevolutionNE.org.
