Saint Paul UMC Caregiver Meeting February 22nd

What: Saint Paul UMC Caregiver Meeting February 22nd.
When: Tuesday, February 22nd from 1:30 to 2:30p
Zoom Meeting

This is the meeting sponsored by the Lincoln Caregiver Education Group scheduled for Saint Paul UMC but now we are doing the meetings on Zoom. Jessie Cook with Answers4Families is being kind enough to host these meetings. Register at the link below so you may receive the information to join the meeting.

Our meeting is on February 22nd at 1:30pm – 2:30pm CST. The presentation entitled Understanding Hospice & Palliative Care will be given by Dr. Bob Bleicher from HoriSun Hospice. Dr. Bleicher is a native Nebraskan who has been a hospice medical director for more than thirty years. His training has included experience working for two hospices and in the Lincoln hospitals as a pulmonologist and critical care specialist. He is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Care. It is evident from his experience and knowledge about both hospice and palliative care that he will be sharing valuable information about both. Caregivers often don’t realize how important time away for themselves can be and/or maybe don’t understand how it all works. Dr. Bleicher will explain not only the importance but how it all can be beneficial and share resources. It is just as important for the safety and well-being of the caregivers but their loved ones as well.

If you register and find you aren’t able to attend the live event to participate/ask questions, you will be sent a link to view the recorded session.

Here is the link to register for the Zoom meeting on February 22nd . Please be sure to register as this is how you will receive the meeting connection information.
