What: Saint Paul UMC Caregiver Meeting March 23rd
When: Tuesday, March 23rd, 1:30p on Zoom
This is the meeting sponsored by the Lincoln Caregiver Education Group scheduled for Saint Paul UMC but now we are doing the meetings on Zoom. Jessie Cook with Answers4Families is being kind enough to host these meetings. Register SOON at the link below so you may receive the link to join the meeting.
Brianna Lock, the Program and Volunteer Specialist with the Nebraska Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, was kind enough to find a person willing to give our presentation this month. Her name is Terry Glover and she volunteers with the Association. She is giving a presentation about “Understanding and Responding to Dementia Related Behavior” that I asked for. Join us to learn how to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers, and incorporate strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia.. If you register and find you aren’t able to attend the live event to participate/ask questions, you will be sent a link to view the recorded session.
Here is the link to register for the Zoom meeting on March 23rd. Please be sure to register as this is how you will receive the meeting connection information:
After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. You will note a new item – your zip code – that is asked for. This is for the Alzheimer’s Association record keeping
