What: Saint Paul UMC Caregiver Meeting
When: September 30th at 1:30p on Zoom
This is the meeting sponsored by the Lincoln Caregiver Education Group scheduled for Saint Paul UMC but now we are doing the meetings on Zoom. Jessie Cook with Answers4Families is being kind enough to host these meetings. I am sending this out a little early since the day of the month has changed and I want to be sure you have it on your calendar. Register at the link below so you may receive the link to join the meeting.
Our meeting is on September 30th at 1:30pm – 2:30pm CST which is regular time but not the fourth Tuesday. The presentation entitled Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning will be given by Tim Clare, Esq. who is a partner in the law firm of Rembolt Ludtke LLP. The session will share how to arrange your estate to support and protect your family member. Becoming well-informed about wills, trusts and estate planning is necessary to secure the financial future of your loved one and give you peace of mind. You will learn more about arranging your estate, preparing a will and how to set up a trust specifically for your relative or loved one. It will be useful information for the caregiver as well. All attendees will be in listen only mode to ensure the best sound quality throughout the presentation. You are welcome to submit your questions throughout the session in the chat box on your toolbar. If you have a question just click the chat icon and type your message into the box. Tim will be answering questions at the end of the presentation from the chat box features. If you register and find you aren’t able to attend the live event to participate/ask questions, you will be sent a link to view the recorded session.

October 26th 1:30pm – 2:30pm CST back to regular time and on the fourth Tuesday. Mark Sunderman from Eastmont is going to share about the Myths of Aging. This sounds so interesting so I’m really looking forward to what Mark will share. He always does a fantastic job of sharing beneficial information..
November 23rd 1:30pm – 2:30pm CST regular time and on the fourth Tuesday. I’m very pleased that Karla Frese from Home Care Partners will be sharing a session entitled HomeFit. She will share ways to help people stay in the home they love by turning it into a “lifelong home” suitable for themselves and anyone in their household plus some more tips. You won’t want to miss this.
We will not be meeting in December.
