Fatal Car/Pedestrian Crash Friday Night in North Lincoln

LINCOLN—(KFOR Feb. 9)—A 64-year-old man is dead, after a car/pedestrian collision Friday night in north Lincoln. Lincoln Police Captain Max Hubka told KFOR News LPD and LFR were called to 27th and Old Dairy Road around 7:15 pm after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.

A vehicle that was passing northbound in the traffic lane near North 27th and Dairy road struck a 64-year-old man who was standing in the median.

Medical personnel at the scene rendered aid and the man was taken to a Lincoln hospital where he later died. The victim’s identity is being withheld until such time as his family can be notified.  No citations have been issued and the investigation is ongoing.
