Fifteen Traffic Deaths in January

During the month of January, 2020, Fifteen people were killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways, according to data collected by the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

All fifteen occurred in fatal car crashes with ten not wearing seat belts, thirteen in rural locations, one was a pedestrian and five had icy/snow road conditions as contributing circumstances.
