A fire shortly after 3am Friday damages the front side of a northeast Lincoln home.

Lincoln firefighters were called to a home west of 56th and Fremont, on a report of a fire on the porch. LFR spokesperson Nic Cunningham says they had everything knocked down in about five minutes.

Damage estimates are at $25,000. No one was hurt and the people inside had to be relocated.

While no official cause has been determined, Cunningham says there were reports of fireworks being shot off in that same block.
