Season outlook: Southwest looks to be among the top teams in Class A this season, with four of five starters from last season’s state semifinal team back, plus the addition of Lincoln North Star transfer KayTee Irons will help.  Irons, a sophomore, averaged nearly 10 points a game last season for the Gators.  Eleanor Griffin, Hayden Rathe, Emma Dostal and Brenly Noerrlinger are the returning starters for Coach Tim Barada.  The key loss for Southwest is Kennadi Williams, who is now playing basketball and softball at Nebraska.
