Gunfire in Two Areas of Lincoln Early Sunday

LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 16)–Two different cases of gunfire reported across Lincoln early Sunday morning.

LPD Captain Todd Kocian says officers were first called shortly after midnight to the area of 14th and Benton, where three shots were fired from in front of a home and 9mm shell casings were recovered. Surveillance video captured an older model, dark-colored sedan driving on Benton Street. No damage reported and no one was hurt.

Captain Kocian also said that three hours later, officers were called to 1st and “L” Street on another report of gunshots. Two bullets hit a home, one of them found inside and lodged in a Cricut machine. Damage amounts are over $1,100 and no one was hurt.
