Raiola got the nod in the three-quarterback battle over Heinrich Haarberg and freshman Daniel Kaelin. Raiola passed for 239 yards and two touchdowns, while completing 16-of-22 passes, in the April 27 Red-White spring scrimmage.
Raiola is the son of Husker All-American and former NFL player Dominic Raiola, while his uncle, Donovan Raiola, is Nebraska’s offensive line coach.
