Huskers Fall Short To The Hoosiers

The Nebraska Cornhuskers take another loss at home, this time to the Indiana Hoosiers. The first quarter went well for the Huskers (who were decked out in the long traditional ‘Blackshirts’) as they scored two touchdowns both done by quarterback Noah Vedral. The Hoosiers scored a field goal in the quarter and then a touchdown but didn’t get the extra point. However by the second quarter, Indiana’s offense led by Peyton Ramsey managed to score a touchdown in the first two minutes of the game after the Huskers fumbled it and the Hoosiers defense got it down into the redzone. Luckily the Huskers managed to score another touchdown with the first half ending with 21-16. This wouldn’t last however as the Hoosier’s drove down the field and not only scored a touchdown but also got a two-point conversion leading 24-21. The Huskers managed to tie it up with a field goal but 6 plays later and Indiana got another touchdown on the last play of the third quarter. The start of the fourth quarter didn’t fair much better, as Indiana scored another touchdown thanks to another Husker fumble, but the Huskers scored as well with a touchdown of their own. That would be it for both teams as the clock wind down to the final score of 38-31 chalking up another loss for the Huskers. Hopefully Nebraska will have better luck against Purdue next week.
