Huskers Get Past Illinois In Second Half

The Nebraska Cornhuskers had fans on edge during Saturday’s game in Champaign, Illinois when Illinois managed to score 2 touchdowns early in the first quarter while the Huskers tried to catch up. Though Nebraska managed to score two touchdowns themselves they were behind by the end of the first half 21 to 14. The second half was also a rough start for the Huskers as Illinois scored two more touchdowns while Nebraska tried to keep up only to have a field goal block by Illinois leaving them at 27 to 35 at the end of the third quarter. During the fourth, the Huskers came back by scoring a touchdown to tie with Illinois then another to stay ahead while the Fighting Illini only managed to get a field goal kick in with the final score of 42- 38. It was another win for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
