The public recycling drop-off site located at the Lancaster Event Center, 4100 N. 84th Street, will close permanently on Monday, July 29 due to event center expansion.  Residents who use the site are encouraged to use one of the following locations:

  • Russ’s Market, 63rd Street and Platte Avenue
  • Labor Temple, 4625 “Y” Street
  • East High School, 70th and “A” streets, Seacrest Field Parking Lot

The Waste Diversion Office is working to find a replacement for the closed site and appreciates the public’s patience during the relocation.  Residents are also reminded that curbside recycling service is available from their current garbage collectors.
