Eliot Bostar, the Executive Director of the Nebraska Conservation Voters and Conservation Nebraska, and member of the Lincoln Electric System Administrative Board of Directors,  announced his 2020 candidacy for the Nebraska Legislature in Lincoln’s District 29 Tuesday. The seat is currently represented by Senator Kate Bolz who is unable to run again due to term limits.

“Too many politicians are trying to divide us on important issues, like education, taxes, caring for vulnerable Nebraskans, and our environment. We need to work together to make a better community for all of us,” Bostar said. “I’m running to move beyond partisan rhetoric and solve the problems that our state is facing.”

Bostar is a registered Democrat.
