Lincoln Recognized For Cardiac Survival Rate

The national average for cardiac survivability is 20%.  In Lincoln, it’s 60%On KFOR’s Lincoln Live, Fire Chief, Micheal Despain, said factors for significant cardiac success starts with citizens using Pulse Point and administering CPR to dispatch getting medical staff on the way quickly and hospitals streamlining treatment.  Lincoln success is highlighted in the December issue of The Journal of Emergency Medicine Magazine.
