Living Legacy Award

KFOR and Legacy Retirement Communities are once again taking nominations for The Jerry Joyce Living Legacy Award, to honor a compassionate, caring volunteer in our community who is quietly serving others in some capacity. If you know an unsung hero in Lincoln or the surrounding area, KFOR and Legacy Retirement Communities want to know more about that person.

The selected individual will receive $2500 to donate to the non-profit(s) of their choice. The submissions from last time will be moved forward, but we encourage you to send a fresh one. Nominations should be 500 words or less and you can fill out the form located below or mail it to the attention of Cathy Blythe at KFOR, 3800 Cornhusker, Lincoln, NE 68504. The nomination deadline is Monday, Oct. 1st. This award is given annually in memory of the late Jerry Joyce, founder of the Legacy Retirement Communities.
