LPD Finds Throwing Stars in Traffic Stop

A handful of metal throwing stars were recovered in a traffic stop at 27th and Sewell Monday night.

Lincoln Police Officer Angela Sands says 18-year-old Tremane Bluford, who was the back seat passenger, gave police a false name before he was searched.

“He had a warrant for his arrest and several broadcasts. Once officers found out who he was and took him into custody,” officer Angela Sands told KFOR News.

Bluford went to jail for carrying a concealed weapon and false reporting.
