LPD Investigating Another Attempted Kidnapping

LINCOLN–(KFOR June 21)–Police are investigating another attempted kidnapping, this one happening late Wednesday night just before midnight near 61st and Adams.

Officer Luke Bonkiewicz says they were called by an 18-year-old woman on Thursday about the incident.  She told officers she was walking at the time when two men in a car pulled up along side her.  The driver apparently told the passenger to go out and bring her into the car.  The woman told police she ran off and the two men drove away.

Officers are working to get surveillance video from nearby homes or businesses to find a description of the car.  Bonkiewicz says this doesn’t appear to be related to any recent attempted kidnapping cases.
