LPD Makes Third Arrest In July 24 Homicide

LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 2)–A day after two men were arrested for their involvement in the July 24 shooting death of 34-year-old Audrea Craig inside her home at 26th and South, Lincoln Police arrested a third suspect in the case on Friday morning.
Police Officer Angela Sands says 25-year-old Sylvester LeBlanc was arrested near 27th and “O” Street for first-degree murder in Craig’s death. Details of LeBlanc’s involvement are not yet clear.
Two others, 28-year-old Rubin Thomas and 21-year-old Jesse Foster, were arrested Thursday in connection to Craig’s death. It was determined there was an exchange of gunfire between Craig and the men involved. Police say she fired a shot that led to 24-year-old Martae Green’s death in the shootout, but it’s unclear who shot Craig.
Police are continuing their investigation.
