LPD Releases Name of Deceased Crash Victim

LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 1)–Lincoln Police have released the name of the motorcyclist, who died after being involved in a crash around 9:30pm Wednesday near 14th and Warlick Boulevard.
On Thursday morning, police identified the victim as 22-year-old Triston Grieser of Lincoln. According to police, Grieser’s motorcycle and a dark SUV were involved in the collision.
While the investigation continues, police believe the driver of the SUV failed to yield heading south, when the northbound motorcycle was heading north and merging on to 14th Street from Warlick Boulevard.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor and Grieser was wearing a helmet. No other injuries were reported.
