LINCOLN–(KFOR June 26)–The Lincoln Board of Education is moving ahead with plans to build two new high schools. Tuesday night, the board approved two bids for prep work at a cost of about $1 million for building design, material selection and construction schedules. LPS is looking at close to $300 million dollars…possibly asking voters to approve the bond in February of 2020. A district committee recommended in May the two potential high schools go in northwest and extreme southeast Lincoln.
