A man that was exposed to the very cold weather on Monday is now in jail. Lincoln Police say Lincoln Fire & Rescue were called about a cold exposure to a car lot in the 700 block of West Cornhusker. Captain Danny Reitan said Steven Howard was taking shelter in a van owned by the car dealer.

Firefighters asked Howard if he had any weapons, he said he didn’t but then pulled out a pellet gun and pointed at a firefighter, who then grabbed it. Police were called and Howard was arrested for trespassing and disturbing the peace. No one was hurt.
