Man Injured In Motorcycle Crash Friday Night Near Davey

DAVEY–(KFOR Sept. 16)–Lancaster County deputies are investigating a Friday night crash west of Highway 77 and Davey Road, after a motorcycle crashed and injured the driver.

Chief Deputy Sheriff Ben Houchin says witnesses reported seeing 20-year-old Brandon Hasenkamp of Saunders County leaving Davey, driving in a reckless manner on eastbound Davey Road. Houchin says Hasenkamp was not wearing a helmet. Alcohol may have been a factor and a blood draw was done and the results have not been released.

Hasenkamp was taken to a Lincoln hospital with critical injuries, but his condition has improved to having him in general care.
