Meth, Paraphernalia Found In Traffic Stop and Warrant Served At Nearby Home
LINCOLN–(KFOR June 25)–Five people are in jail, after being busted with more than 50 grams of meth early Monday evening in north Lincoln.
According to Lincoln Police, officers pulled over a car at 40th and Adams, and found about 15 grams of suspected methamphetamine in a bag on the backseat near where the passenger was seated. This substance pre-tested positive for methamphetamine. During a further search of the vehicle, investigators located a total of 32.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine and dozens of controlled pills.
Officers took 25 year old Sierra Barrett to jail, after she was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. Meanwhile, 44 year old Jon Hillman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and possession of money while violating 28-416. Three more arrests were made, including 34 year old Amber Slapnicka for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of money while violating 28-416, and possession of a controlled substance.
Further investigation led to a search warrant at a mobile home in the 3700 block Cornhusker Hwy. Police found 49 year old Debra Scott and 48 year old David Scott, who were both taken into custody and investigators located 22 grams of suspected methamphetamine, $5,018 in cash, scales, 2.4 grams of marijuana, and pipes.
Both were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession for money while violating 28-416.
