Neighbor Cited For Accidental Discharge of Gun

LINCOLN–(KFOR July 31)–A bullet from a gun broke a window at a home near 46th and Van Dorn on Thursday night.

Lincoln Police say a 70-year-old man said a kitchen window was broken and found the bullet on the floor. Turns out, a 66-year-old neighbor told police his .45 caliber handgun discharged as he was cleaning it.

No one hurt. The neighbor was cited for discharging a firearm in city limits.
