15 year old Julian Estrada was riding a bike and utilizing the ramps in place in Peter Pan Park when he lost control and struck his leg on the bike causing a laceration with severe bleeding. Jeanna Easterling ,a Certified Nursing Assistant, was across the street when she observed the victim and his companions and thought there was something wrong. She approached and observed the victim and began to render aid by applying pressure to the wound to staunch the flow of blood likely saving the child’s life.

Estrada is currently a patient at a local hospital and was last believed to be in stable condition. Our partner, 10/11 NOW reports doctors say had it not been for Easterling, the boy would have likely died before he got to the hospital.
