One Wounded After Multiple Gunshots in the Railyard District

LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 6)–One person was wounded when gunfire erupted late Thursday night in the Railyard District.
Lincoln Police Captain Duane Winkler tells KFOR News officers were monitoring concert traffic in the area of Canopy and “Q” Streets, when multiple gunshots were heard. A 19-year-old Omaha man suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound to his right arm and was treated at a Lincoln hospital. Investigators believe there is no ongoing threat to the public.
