LINCOLN–(June 26)–Lincoln Police say a paramedic saved the life of a man who overdosed on Tuesday evening near 70th and Van Dorn.

LFR was called to a home, where a 51-year-old man overdosed on narcotics.  A paramedic used CPR and gave the man Narcan, where was revived.  The man was taken to a Lincoln hospital, where he’s in stable condition.

According to police, LFR administered Narcan 53 times in 2017.  Narcan has been administered by LFR 174 times between January 1, 2005 and April 7, 2018.
