Police Arrest Suspect in Stolen Vehicle Case, Seize Drugs and Gun

LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 18)–A 37-year-old man is in jail, after a traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon near 48th and Fremont led members of the Narcotics Task Force to track down a stolen vehicle.

Lincoln Police Sgt. Chris Vollmer says investigators say a car was reported stolen October 6 from Crete and they were following Peter Jacobson, until he stopped at a home. A search of that stolen vehicle found drug paraphernalia items, a 9mm handgun and about 41 grams of meth.

Jacobson was arrested for possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of a firearm during a drug violation and theft by receiving.
