Progress Toward Open Lot In Downtown Lincoln

The Lincoln City Council is making progress on turning that vacant dirt lot at 9th and “O” into a new six-story downtown hotel. The Council decided to talk more about finances next week. What we know is the developer of the $31 million hotel is asking for $3 million in tax increment financing to compliment $28 in private investment. A final vote on the project comes May 6th.
