Road Rage Tuesday Night Leads To Man Being Cited For Assault, Criminal Mischief

LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 2)–A 33-year-old man has been cited for 3rd-degree assault and criminal mischief, following a road rage incident in north Lincoln on Tuesday night.
Police were called to the 2200 block of Lynnridge Circle, which is near 27th and Folkways, about a vehicle in someone’s yard. Officers said one of the drivers was being followed too closely on his way home and a fight started.
When both drivers got out, 33-year-old Hattam Al-Ali allegedly punched the 22-year-old victim, who then got back into his car and tried to leave. But Al-Ali allegedly chased after him and the victim’s car lost control, ending up in another yard.
No other injuries were reported.
