School Teacher in NE Nebraska Accused of Having Inappropriate Relationship with Student

MADISON–(KFOR May 21)–A teacher at a northeast Nebraska school district has been arrested by the State Patrol for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

According to the State Patrol, investigators got information about a relationship between a teacher and a student at Madison High School. An arrest warrant was issued Monday for 29-year-old Nixel Ortiz of Madison for a charge of sexual abuse by a school employee. She was arrested and put in the Madison County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
